Shabdapramana or Testimony is a formidable doctrine within Indian philosophy. A thorough investigation of this thesis is long overdue. What is shabdapramana (word as knowledge)? This could lead to mutual dialogue between philosophy and religion, and pave the way for critical metaphysics.
