Dr C. Rajendran, former Head of the Department of Sanskrit, University of Calicut and Visiting Professor at École des Hautes études en Sciences Sociale, Paris (2005) and Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland (2014) is currently Dean and Visiting Professor, Faculty of Sanskrit Literature at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady. His works include Vyaktiviveka: A Critical Study (2001), Studies in Comparative Poetics (2010), Eco Aesthetic Studies in Kalidasa (2018), Excursions in Indian Aesthetics (2018) and Sisupalavadha (English tr. 2019). He has delivered lectures at Cambridge, Brussels, Warsaw, Berlin, Helsinki, Milan, Leipzig, Aix En Provence, Singapore, Vancouver and Cagliari. e-mail:crajenin@yahoo.com.
